Chris began his mortgage lending career in 1982 working as a loan officer for a respected Houston lending firm.  In 1989, he started his own mortgage company, Houston Capital Mortgage.  After 25 successful years, Chris sold his company in 2014.  He and his team joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation in early 2021.

Customer-oriented professional, patient, caring, friendly, and informative are words used by his customers.  Chris believes in open and honest communication to create a "customer for life" experience for his customers.  He enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge to ensure his borrowers are comfortable and understand the loan application process.

Chris received his BBA in Finance from the University of Texas in 1981.  That same year, he married his high-school sweetheart, Catherine.  He and Catherine have two grown sons and two grandsons.  Family is everything for the Viviano's!  If Chris isn't spending time with his family, you'll likely find him cycling or racing his car at the local racetrack.
