Mark did the best he could with what he had to work with but I was not happy with the professionalism of Fairway in general. I got documents on more than one occasion from the app site or other Fairway sources that listed my social security number incorrectly, showed me as a single woman instead of a single man, had an incorrect interest rate on estimates from what I locked with Mark, charged me a $100 appraisal administrative fee on top of the high priced appraisal fee for a 921 square foot space whereas no other lender has charged me an admin fee for an appraisal like that, charged me points charges that were much higher than Bank of America mortgages (I checked because my previous loans were with B of A and I have a loan officer connection), forgot some paperwork at closing and I had to go back to the Title Company a second time, didn’t get a final statement from my previous condo sale until closing day that could have been requested weeks earlier so they requested me to get it after I signed all the closing papers, was going to charge me $100 fee for an appraiser to come back a second time to my prospective property without my consent and actually tried to charged me even though the service didn’t occur and tried to charge me a $400 fee to Bbaca Engineering at closing when I had already paid that company the $400 fee. Luckily I caught these fee mistakes and advised Mark so he could get them corrected.
