I only had one issue with the process. We were told by the Notary that after the house was taken out of our trust we could have it put back in at no cost to us but as it turns out, we must pay for a lawyer to put it back in. How is it legal for the title company to take it out of the trust at our request but they cannot put it back in at our request? It is an expense that we were not expecting.

As we progressed through the stages of the process we got a very nice video about the stage we were at but not about the rest of the stages. I think it is important to be able to know the whole journey as well as where we are in the journey - knowing the stage we just completed without knowing the remaining steps is less helpful. The question for me was more about " are we on track to meet the deadline or not.

I had a decent experience with fairway. I felt they could request documents earlier on in the process as a couple times they needed letters ASAP when the loan process had started a week or more prior.
Letters from employers regarding my employment status and job description seemed redundant considering the paystubs and longevity with the company. With that said I felt Matt worked hard to get my loan through the system and earn my business now and in the future.
