Sal Aranda joined Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation as part of The Bergen Team in 2019 as a Loan Officer for the Westside office of El Paso. Previously, Sal was the managing broker and owner of a residential real estate firm he formed in 2009 in Southern California and expanded into Washington and New Mexico, holding broker licenses in all three states. An El Paso native, Sal decided to return to his hometown to share memories with family and enjoy the many gifts of the southwest, bringing along 13 years of experience in real estate he gathered while living in California; four years as a real estate salesperson and nine years as a real estate broker. Sal always maintained a keen interest in real estate mortgage throughout his real estate career and jumped at the opportunity to make the transition when it arose.
Prior to moving to California and pursuing a career in real estate, Sal was a corporate attorney specializing in business formations of satellite offices for major corporations. Having that background gives him the advantage of knowing what types of businesses are local to the region and what their distribution and projected growth looks like. It also provides him with an advanced understanding of the legal framework of business entities, which allows him to communicate effectively with potential customers.
Born and raised in the El Paso region, Sal is intimately familiar with the demographics, the culture, and the people. He can be found supporting community events and attending meetings as an active member of the El Paso CCIM, chapter and of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals. It is his love for the region and passion for real estate that provide the drive to always implement trustworthiness and the utmost quality in all business and personal relationships.
Sal, along with his wife, Xochitl, and their three sons, Salvatore, Franco, and Giovanni, enjoys family time by going on bike rides along the Rio Grande, playing ball with their two dogs, Rocky and Luna, and taking their miniature horse, Pegasus, for a walk on their small pecan farm.
