Shakeita attended Coastal Carolina University and The University of South Carolina, earning a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Her passion to help others and her community is proven by the 2014 founding of her non-profit "Ladies Divine to Shine". This is a mentoring program that offers direction for girls between the ages of 12 and 18. Ms. Price is a former specialist that served in the US ARMY! Her passion to help others and to see the community grow are second to none! Her daughter, Amina, is her heartbeat and her primary reason why she keeps moving forward.
